Kyokushin karate camp in Tbilisi

Full-contact kyokushin, under a world champion.

Next session: Aug 4 – Aug 10, 2026

What this camp is and who it suits

This is knockdown karate, so it suits a kyokushin practitioner past beginner stage who wants far more kumite than a home dojo can give them, and a fighter from another full-contact style — kickboxing, K-1, contact karate — who can already take a body shot and wants the ruleset taught properly rather than picked up in a fight. Sixteen places a module, and sixteen is also the minimum age: the room does bare-knuckle body work, which is not a children's format.

Why train this in Georgia

The head coach is a 2011 Absolute World Champion who completed the 100-man kumite, and he teaches every session himself.

Ten sessions across six days, in a dedicated 70 m² dojo with a sprung floor rather than a corner of a mixed gym. Mornings are kihon and kata, evenings are pads, bag work and kumite, with a lighter recovery session mid-week and Sunday off. The head coach takes every session personally, which is the part that does not scale and the reason the group is capped.
